Cozens-Hardy LLP solicitors are very excited to announce that after the success of the inaugural Cozens-Hardy Cycle Ride we will be back on Sunday 19th July 2015

Cozens-Hardy solicitors have a long association with sporting events in Norfolk – both as sponsors and as active participants. Over the past three years they have been a partner organisation with Tri-Anglia supporting the Norwich Triathlon but in 2014 they wanted to create their own event, accessible to all and with a strong Norfolk feel throughout the event.

“Following on from three highly successful years as title sponsors of the Norwich Triathlon, we wanted to create our own sporting event, suitable for staff and business associates as well as the wider community. Cycling is such a popular sport and accessible to everyone and we are thrilled that the National Trust have made Blicking available to us for this exciting new event.”

Philippa Rudd, Partner Cozens-Hardy

Bring the Family

We are lucky enough to have the amazing backdrop of The Blickling Estate as our headquarters for the day.  The Hall, garden and grounds will be open to the public as usual at a reduced rate of £10.90 (adult) & £5.98 (child), enabling non-participatory friends and family to enjoy the day as well.  We are also offering all under 16 year olds FREE entry to the ride (must be accompanied by an adult).  Click here to claim your free place.

The Cozens-Hardy Cycle Ride

The next step was to develop an event format which will appeal to all levels of rider and accommodate both solo and team entries. The sportive will be part of Norfolk’s Business Challenge calendar and will attract teams of four from a wide variety of local businesses, so we want the event to provide something for the casual recreational cyclist as well as the regular, more experienced rider.

To achieve this we have settled on a three loop format, each loop starting and finishing at Blickling Estate and each around 25 miles in length. So, riders can cover 25, 50 or 75 miles without ever being more than 13 miles from the event HQ.

To build in flexibility, riders can decide on the day how far to ride, there is no need to commit to a specific distance when they enter. The entry fees cover a package of event support and rider goodies based on a good quality event. If solo riders wish to opt for a lower level of rider goodies – energy products, event freebies etc – they can choose a standard level entry fee. This will still include the full package of event support items.

So, we have an event, a headquarters and a plan which we hope has captured your interest!
